    LOCATION
  Tübingen, Germany
The Eberhard-Karl University of Tübingen is one of the oldest universities in Germany. It celebrated its five hundredth anniversary in 1977. For a number of years the WU German Department has had close ties to the University of Tübingen, exchanging both faculty and students.

    STUDENT LIFE
Housing: Housing assignments are arranged by the WU Site Director. Students live in dorms among German students. Occasionally, a student will live in a private residence. Student housing is in high demand, so assignments are made among available rooms without much choice.

Student Life: The University of Tübingen is situated in a beautiful small town in southwest Germany, just an hour by bus or train from Stuttgart. The old city is the primary environment for students. There are plenty of things to do on campus and around the city. Tübingen is also well connected to the rest of the country and Europe. Students have plenty of time to organize trips in between their studies.
