Germany European Summer Program
SUMMER PROGRAMThis 2-week program on "The Business, Political and Cultural Environment in Europe" is tailored to Bachelor students in Business Administration, who are interested to learn more about the business environment in Europe. It is offered by the prestigious WHU Business school in picturesque Vallendar, Germany near the Rhine River.
The program takes place on the attractive campus of WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management in Vallendar, located just outside of Koblenz in the Middle Rhine Valley, one hour away from Frankfurt.

ELIGIBILITYMinimum 3.0 GPA
Open to all majors in all schools.
COURSES AND CREDITS1 WU credit = 1 WHU credit. Students earn 4 credits per class.
The two-week program offers a four US credit hour class focusing on the
• Trade Integration in Europe and the European Union
• Monetary Integration in Europe: The Euro as Europe's Common Currency
• Competing in European Markets
• Operations Management in Europe - Embracing Sustainability
• Business Environment and Strategies of Foreign Direct Investment
• Investors in Central and Eastern Europe
• European Marketing
HOUSINGAll Institute students stay in single rooms on the campus of WHU. Housing in single rooms
costs approx. € 300 for the two weeks.
STUDENT LIFEWHU staff plan social and cultural events to bring students, faculty, stafff
together. The orientation program includes a visit to the Deutsche
Bundesbank or the European Central Bank.
WHU has a team of dedicated people ready to help, so you can focus on the
things that really matter during your stay abroad.
HTH INSURANCEOverseas Programs will enroll all WU-approved study abroad students in a basic accident and sickness plan through HTH Worldwide, a leading provider of international health insurance. This plan should be seen as supplemental to the student’s existing domestic health coverage, not as a replacement. We do not recommend a reduction or suspension of existing domestic coverage in light of enrollment in HTH insurance. For more information, click here.
SUMMER TUITION AND EXPENSESTuition is paid directly to WHU and is € 1,549. Students will also be responsible for housing and airfare and any meals not covered in the tuition fee.
