  Jerusalem, Israel
Hebrew University is Israel’s first and leading university. Filled with historical and holy sites, Jerusalem has many amazing attractions. The city also has theaters, museums, concert halls, restaurants, cafes, and clubs. Many festivals and other special events occur throughout the year.

Housing: University housing is available to visiting students on a reserved, space available basis. New construction has increased the capacity of university housing. Students who do not reserve university housing must make their own arrangements in Jerusalem. Reservations should be made well in advance; otherwise, students should arrive in Israel several days before registration in order to find a room. The university does not arrange housing for students outside its dormitories.

Please click here for more information about housing

Student Life: In addition to a variety of student clubs, Hebrew University has an Office of Student Activities (OSA), which creates extracurricular programs specifically designed to introduce students to the Land of Israel, its people, culture, and politics. The many exciting events and activities that complement the academic program allow students to see the country from new angles. There are many overnight trips too.

On-Site Support: Rothberg International School. Also, WU students are hosted by Rivka Sillam,

Estimated Program Price: When you study abroad for a semester or a year for academic credit, you will be charged tuition by Washington University at a rate equivalent to tuition on campus for the corresponding time period. WU tuition covers only the educational and administrative costs of the study abroad program. WU tuition does not cover any study abroad program costs for room, board, transportation, personal expenses, passport or visa fees. Such costs are charged separately either by WU, the program sponsor, or a third party.
