Study Abroad Ambassador position information:

As a Study Abroad Ambassador, you will be able to share your study abroad experiences while mentoring undergraduate peers.  Here are some common roles of Ambassadors:
  • Answer questions from students interested in study abroad—your email will be listed under our alumni contacts on our website.
  • Become involved in our social media outreach.
  • Present at pre-departure meetings and program information sessions or panels.
  • Assist in planning returnee opportunities and workshops.
  • Help welcome exchange students from other countries to the Wash U community and participate in the “buddy system”.
  • Attend meetings about once a month. Other meetings may be scheduled as necessary for event planning and session preparations.
