Mission: TPO Uganda is a national Ugandan non-governmental organisation. Our programs cover both development focused and humanitarian work.

Description
Since 1994, we have supported and partnered with civil society organizations and government to empower communities with the skills and tools they need to effectively address their problems.  Our objectives are to strengthen national and community systems and structures for effective protection and promotion of children’s and women’s rights, increase access to psychosocial and mental health services to vulnerable communities, and enhance vulnerable communities’ capacity to manage and respond to disaster and socioeconomic shock. As we design and deliver services, we are building a society where mental, social and economic wellbeing is prioritized to enable all people enjoy a harmonious and productive life.

Preferred Knowledge and Background

Cost: Students are responsible for flights, housing, potential visa fees, potential vaccine fees, and living expenses. Students are required to purchase purchase WUSTL travel insurance for the duration of their practicum for $40/month.

Travel Immunizations or preventative medication is recommended and may be required for your program participation. Students are responsible for covering all associated costs. Please refer to the CDC for more information.
